Many of the atheists are doing better than religionists!

i got up today to listen to the shocking news that russia’s ambassador to turkey was assassinated at an ankara art exhibit, and assassin was acting in the name of god.. it seems things have evolved to the other extreme that atheists are doing the work of religionists and vice versa.

while religionists take delight in killing fellow humans in the name of god, there were many atheists who followed very elevated morality.

the french existentialists and writers jean-paul sartre and albert camus were some of them.

The new Jesus-The Way - book says:

Hence, natural Jews who do not accept the opportunity offered first to them to be part of the Kingdom with Christ will be rejected. But Gentiles will be welcomed to recline at his table, as it were, “in the Kingdom of the heavens.”

So because it does not fit Watchtower theology, it is interpreted as a symbol only. This way you can explain everything that does not fit your ideas.

some family friends who are engaged are getting some flack around the particulars of their wedding ceremony (surprise!

"strain out the gnat, gulp down the camel", and all that).

It is true, outside the KH you can decide for yourself about your program. My brother for instance could not get permission for the hall because of premarital sex. So my father offered to give a talk at the place of the weddingparty, "since they were also in need of spiritual counsel". My father, who is an elder, did not get in trouble because of it. So maybe it is a loophole.

Jehovah is unjust (outrageous article on slavery in last WT for public)

according to the last paragraph of the article entitled "escape from slavery—then and now" (wt#2, 2017).

jehovah god felt grieved by the harsh treatment of israelite slaves in egypt; he must feel the same way about similar injustice today.. .

if you call modern slavery "injustice", wasn't the slavery during moses time also "injustice"?

Eye for eye and tooth for tooth was not for slaves either, their master just had to release them.

today it's a fact (99,999%) that the earth will be consumed by the sun in the future be it 3 million or 3 billion years.

a topic we have been discussing here on paradise earth in the last two or three days and i notice no believer chimed in.
